Yes. With Legal River your contact information is redacted so no attorneys are going to be able to see your information. Lawyers will see characteristics of your business, in order to know if they are right or not, but they will never see your contact information.

Legal River’s signup process takes about 5 minutes to complete. We have worked with many attorneys and know the questions they need to have answered to better understand if they are the right attorney for your issue. So simply answer a few of our targeted questions and then describe your legal issue in your own words and you are on your way to posting an issue.

Legal River allows businesses to use their Request for Proposal (RFP) system for free by charging the lawyers a small advertising fee to respond to your issue. While any lawyer who is in good standing with their bar association can join Legal River, the lawyer has to pay a small advertising fee to respond to your issue. This is important for two reasons. First, because we operate under a pay per contact system and don’t require any membership or subscription fees, Legal River is able to attract a wide variety of lawyers and thus we will have the right lawyer for you. Second, because there is a fee involved, you will not be spammed by lawyers who are not right for you. Attorneys will self-select and only those who think they can add value will respond to your issue.

While some may have a network vast enough to find a lawyer to handle every specialized legal issue, most of us just do not have that network. Most legal issues are time sensitive and cannot be put off for weeks while we ask around for recommendations.
