Legal River does not participate in any way in any transactions among the users of this website nor between any attorney and/or client, and does not disproportionately promote any user over another.
As a communications and publishing platform, Legal River is not regulated by the American Bar Association, state bar associations or any other professional body, membership organization, entity or association. Bar Associations oversee Pre-Paid Legal Plans and Lawyer Referral Systems, of which Legal River is neither.
Legal River is not a Matching Site, we do not limit the number of participating lawyers, do not forward a non-lawyer contact information to lawyers who are enrolled in services available on this website and do not in any way direct businesses to particular lawyers or law firms enrolled in services on this website.
Legal River does not charge lawyers a success fee or take a portion of their billing. Legal River simply charges lawyers to display their messages, materials, biographies, promotions and/or advertisements to users of this website who, in some cases, are potential clients. Legal River is a communications and publishing platform available to all internet users, and in the cases of attorneys who use this website, virtually every lawyer in America is permitted to enroll in services available on this website. Specifically, Legal River in no way attempts to judge the skill or knowledge of lawyers or refer clients to any particular lawyer.
Legal River is not an ethics expert, nor are we in any manner issuing legal advice.
