How Legal River Works
To use Legal River, simply create an account and post your legal issue in about 5 minutes. Interested lawyers will begin responding in as little as one business day, at which point you can then decide which lawyers to call or email.
Step 1 – Post your Issue: Legal River has a simple on-boarding process. We ask you some general questions about your business and legal issues along with some specific questions about your current needs. Most businesses finish this process in less than 5 minutes.
Step 2 - Review Responses: Within as little as 1 business day (often within hours) of your issue being approved, you will begin to receive responses from attorneys. These attorneys respond with an estimated rate and number of billable hours, along with a personalized message of why they are right for your legal issue.
Step 3 – Choose an Attorney: At this point you can reach out to any or all of these interested and available lawyers. Email them to learn more about their practice, or call them to receive a retainer agreement; the choice is yours.
